Results from experimenting with L-System Algorithms using Inkscape to create series of patterns based on fractal geometry. Based on traditional fractal patterns such as The Koch Curve or The Sierpinski Triangle, a series of roughly 600 designs were generated from four simple “rules” which the only differences are the change in angles and the number of iterations. The idea is to try and grasp the vast possibilities of how seemingly chaotic patterns can emerged whilst in fact it was created from simple math equations. Imagine the possibilities.
